Kyoto Potteries

We celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Kyoto and its surrounding region through our curated selection of local pottery. Our tableware features Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki ceramics, known for their exquisite hand-painted designs and refined glazes, echoing Kyoto’s classical beauty.

We also  incorporate Shigaraki-yaki pottery (located in Kyoto`s neighboring prefecture Shiga), famed for its rustic, earthy textures and natural ash glazes. These distinctive ceramics embody the essence of wabi-sabi, adding warmth and authenticity to our dishes.

By sourcing these traditional ceramics, VOG not only honors centuries-old craftsmanship but also supports local artisans and contributes to the regional economy. Each piece tells a story of heritage and community, making your dining experience a true taste of Kyoto’s cultural legacy.
